Some exciting new gear has been announced. Within the bunch, the Panasonic Eva1 team has announced their promised 2.0 Firmware upgrade which includes 5.7K RAW recoding, among other internal recording formats that seem quite delicious. In addition, Sony, Tilta, and other companies has also made announcements as well.

ALL-Intra codecs 4:2:2 10bits

  • 4K/UHD up to 30p@400 Mbps
  • 2K/HD up to 60p@200 Mbps
  • 2K/HD up to 30p@100 Mbps

ALL-Intra codecs for High Frame rate

  • 4K/UHD ~30p@400 Mbps
  • 2K/HD ~120p@400 Mbps

For broadcast:

  • FullHD (1920×1080) – ALL-Intra 100Mbps 10-bit 4:2:2 @59.94i/50i
  • FullHD (1920×1080) – LongGOP 50Mbps 10-bit 4:2:2 @59.94i/50i
